The 'Original' Golden Girls LIVE: On Stage! was created by Peter and Dr. John Mac in 2003. They have played the roles of Sophia and Dorothy opposite each other more than 2,000 times coast-to-coast. A real life couple on and off the stage. They never make fun of the women they portray - they have fun with them. To quote Peter Mac: "Imitation should be the sincerest form of flattery NOT battery!"
Audiences loved the long-running NBC sitcom The Golden Girls, tuning in weekly to laugh at the often bawdy antics and hilarious quips of geriatric roomies Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Sophia. Now, you can be a live audience member as the original company (created in 2003) perfroms an affectionate stage- show loving parody with an all-male cast portraying the senior ladies live on stage as if they'd never left their Miami home. Enjoy a new episode that never was: "Terms Of Estrangement" This loving and hilarious homage to the (mostly) gray-haired gals includes a focus on bonding, breaking and building a relationship between Dorothy and Sophia.
